I understand that nobody who listens to this record for the first time in 2012 or any time thereafter will think it rocks in any way, shape, or form. Nostalgia makes this record so much better for me than it actually is. This was one of our top 5 records when my siblings and I were growing up. I don't know why it appealed to us then or why I still love it now. Few records sound as stuck in the decade in which they were created as this one. I don't expect anyone outside my family to understand why I'm giving this album so many stars when it objectively deserves fewer.
