The Cure-Galore

This is part two of The Cure's greatest hits. Staring at the Sea covered the early years from Three Imaginary Boys to The Head on the Door. Galore covers Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me to Wild Mood Swings. The songs on Galore tend to be much more pop-oriented than the songs on Staring at the Sea. Sure, there's still plenty to hang your head about on Galore. If you're looking for reasons to wallow in unfathomable sorrow you've still got "Lullabye" and "Pictures of You" but Galore tends to be a little more upbeat with tracks like "Just Like Heaven" and "Friday I'm in Love." I happen to love both the early and later years of The Cure (though I'm not so big on the band that calls itself The Cure but it's really just a fat Robert Smith and three other guys). The Cure has always been, through all the lineup changes and everything else, at the very least an interesting band.
